With this simple kit, you can enjoy the peaceful sound of a waterfall almost anywhere! On your patio or deck, in your solarium, or even in your livingroom.
The pond kit is shown at the right with a few water plants, and surrounded by other nice garden plants. You can customize the waterfall with whatever kind of plants you like, or surround it with decorative rocks, or cedar or redwood woodwork.
The small recirculating pump (less that 20 watts!) provides just enough water flow to give that gentle trickling sound.
The sound of gentling running water can be very soothing and relaxing after a long day!
The two basins are about 24 inches in diameter to the outside of the top lip, and about 15 inches deep. They each hold about 20 gallons of water. They are designed to fit perfectly inside a standard half whiskey barrel.
Your waterfall kit includes: The upper and lower basins, a small very efficient submersible pump, and the black tubing to run the water up to the upper basin.
All you need to do is raise the upper basin about 6", on a small platform as shown, or some bricks or concrete blocks, etc. As an alternative, if this is installed outdoor, the lower basin could be lowered into the ground by 6" to 8". Then all you do is place the pump in the lower basin, run the tubing up to the upper basin, add water and plants (and a few goldfish if you want), plug in the pump, and sit back, relax, and enjoy!
