Original Item: Made prior to WWII, these are black steel WWI type, "Adrian" style helmets bearing a brass helmet badge showing the Belgian Royal Crown over cypher. Complete with lining and chin strap. A rare and unusual original WWII helmet.

Note: These helmets are original! However, we are advised that the Army badge had a Belgian lion motif and it has been suggested that this Royal Crown Badge was used under German occupation in WWII by Belgian security forces who were being forced to cooperate with the invaders. In any event it seems to be an extremely interesting variant, perhaps not encountered before.
